Lisa: I started singing when I was 14 years old and my cousin who was eight years older than me used to drum for Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. Lisa: Not per se. My mother has a beautiful voice and she says that is where I get it from. Testosterone Anadoil for sale, My father was also a DJ. Lisa: Yes, it was. I remember doing these open mic jazz things and it was fun but I would love to do an album that was all jazz but it’s not the scene that I love. I’d rather take influence and be involved in it. On the first album, the label struggled with not enough up-tempo and too much down-tempo but an album is supposed to reflect the person. I do dance tracks all the time. Nu-Soul: Do the producers send you beats and you write from there or is it the other way around, where to buy Testosterone Anadoil.

When it comes to melody, it’s about syncopation of the beat because I work off the beat. Sometimes I will do something to the beat and send it to them. Nu-Soul: Who are some of the DJs and producers you worked with on this album.
Lisa: Dave Warren is the main producer. He did all the tracks except for two. It’s a mix of producers but the main producer is definitely Dave Warren.

We want to be known and we want people to recognize our work and what we do but not all the other stuff that comes with it which is the radar.

Nu-Soul: Tell me about the Petalpushers.

He decided he wanted to do a nine piece band with two keyboard players, two vocalists, a bass player and two guitar players. But we were running before we could walk. And with the economy being bad, it’s not as much money floating around. We did things from my old album and his album and it was great. I hope we get to do more this year.
