Nu-Soul: Firstly, West Virginia WV W.Va. , we’d like to congratulate you on your first solo album. It’s quite a gorgeous recording. Andy Compton: Thanks. Andy Compton: My obsessive love for music, and my dream of spreading it worldwide to a new level. Andy Compton: Educating people to respect music and art, and where it came from.

Nu-Soul: What has the last 12 months brought you in terms of your music.
Andy Compton: I spent more time than ever in the studio this last year, it also helped getting my college Steve Walker in to help run the label. I learned not to try to hard in the studio, and just let the vibes flow naturally, buy Zopiclone c.o.d.. It been great working with strings as well, I’m planning to get well into composing and arranging at a new level. It’s also being great working with Diviniti, Kafele, and Oskar; these guys are pros and everything they’ve sent back to me (as we work via the internet) has been liquid gold. Nu-Soul: You seem to have a very “loyal, with a sophisticated understanding of your music” type of following, what would you like to say to them.
Andy Compton: I thank everyone who’s ever supported me and my music, it’s that love that keeps me going!. I’ve heard some many amazing stories of how the music helped people and brought people together, I sometimes think I don’t even understand the significance of the music!. I know how important my music I listen to is to me, and if people
think the same of my music then that’s just magic.
